Driving me completely nuts!!!

I have no idea why but Google is constantly, continually and in a completely infuriating way throwing me out of a Google.

I have to sign in nearly every time I want to leave a comment on my lovely bloggy friends posts.

I have to sign in every time I want to post on my knitting thread.

Pinterest is the same.

It is so frustrating. I forget, write my comments then click the post button and they simply disappear .

It is taking the pleasure out of my IPad and my online life.

Am I the only one dear friends? Is it happening to you? Does anyone know a solution to this problem which really is driving me nuts?

Your lovely comments after my last post about sweet William stopped me folding up my IPad and leaving it in a dark corner somewhere. So, thank you. Your kindness and concern have meant so much x x x

  1. I have these issues from time to time, at the moment Mr Google is playing nicely but a few months ago I felt as frustrated as you are feeling now.

Hope that William is continuing to make a good recovery, poor little chap.

  2. Oh dear that's so frustrating, I'm sorry I can't offer any help as I'm so computer illiterate and don't have an ipad! I'm sure you'll find some advice from all those lovely fellow bloggers.

  3. It happens to me so often that I now rarely leave comments on blogs or comment as "anonymous". Hopefully it will all sort itself out soon. Best wishes for your grandson. Jackie

  4. Oh how annoying!! Take a deep breath - in, out, in, out... and here's hoping that pesky little problem rights itself soon.
    Happy weekend,
    xx

  5. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment. It's been going on for about a month now. And it is showing no sign of righting itself!

  6. No consolation, but it does stupid things to me too sometimes, and then it seems better again, but I cannot work out the rhyme or reason for it so I cannot fix it which is very annoying. Hope that you can get things worked out, or that they magically fix themselves! xx

  7. Linda.. do you have a MacBook Pro laptop? You might want to get one. I only comment using my computer and NEVER have those problems. But I don't have that problem with my iPad Air either. I'm sorry you're having issues. :-( I hope little William is coping well with his cast and all. You're all in my thoughts.. wishing this goes quick and he's free to move about very soon. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  8. Linda, are you using Private Browsing in Safari? This will possibly log you out. Other than that, no suggestions, I'm afraid. I hope you are coping ok with all that has happened with William. It's very hard when you're so far away. I remember how I felt when my sister was injured in a car crash abroad. Big hug to you all. X

  9. I wish I had advice. Are you sure you're not clicking the "sign out" button, instead of the "publish" one? When you're leaving a comment, there will be two buttons, a gray and a blue. Always click the blue one to publish your comment. If it's not that, I don't know how to help. Sorry. I hope it straightens out soon.

  11. Like Teresa I have Apple Macs, Linda, and don't usually have much in the way of problems at all so can't really offer any help, but I do know that Google can be a bit tricky at times with some people so you're not on your own. I do hope it gets sorted soon for you - you have enough on your plate without that. Do you have a computer technical anywhere near where you are holidaying who could perhaps advise you? It sounds to me like it could be a simple setting that has somehow been changed!
I do hope that little William is making some progress - it's awfully difficult for you being so far away, I know! Caring and sending love, Joy xo

  12. I find commenting from my iPad to be much trickier than with my computer. Jennifer had a good suggestion. Make sure you hit the publish button and not the sign out button. I have made that mistake several times. Also, you could try logging out of your Google account entirely, completely shutting down your iPad, then start it up and log back in. My most successful means of fixing an annoying computer/iPad problem is to Google the problem I'm having. There's usually someone else out there who had had a similar problem and someone who has figured out how to fix it. I'm sorry you are having to draw with this, especially with the added stress of William's broken leg.

  15. Linda! I am just catching up on your last few posts...and am so sorry to read that William has broken a bone!!! I'm praying for blessings of comfort for him and you all as he heals... The restaurant you visited looked beautiful and your granola recipe, yummy. Your bag planters are very clever as well. I am sorry for the issues you are having with your iPad and Google and don't have anything brilliant to offer to suggest you should do, but know that I am cheering you on in your blogging efforts, and enjoy visiting your posts! xx
