The Sweetest Peas!

A special welcome to CJQuilter00. Thank you so much for joinig my merry band of followers.
I am not enjoying Mr Anonymous at the moment but I am trying just to delete him or her without even thinking about saddos hijacking my blog and leaving adverts from slimming pills to Viagra.
Only 4 more followers until a Chalky Giveaway which I have started collecting for!
 Such lovely fun.

I used to sing lots of songs about peas with the "littlies" They loved making a big bang when the pod burst open at the end of one rhyme.

Well I have been following a lovely blog called http://sweetpeafamilyblog.blogspot.co.uk/. You will love it if you pop over and have a look. A little while ago I entered a lovely Giveaway and much to my surprise and delight I won it.

Now, Sue was packing away her Easter treasures and decided to kindly offer a sweet crochet rabbit as a Giveaway. At the time a little rhyme about rabbits had taken precedence over rhymes about peas in my head. I blame young William.

Of course I was expecting this little rabbit to come hopping through my postbox but he did not come alone. Once again the generosity and loveliness of the people in Blogland astounded me. The most lovely collection of treasures arrived for me. Of course the rabbit is for William but I feel really lucky too! But can you see there was even a sweet little bag of Easter chocolates tied up with a pretty ribbon. And chocolate really does wink and shout at me but this little package was safely delivered. My children, when they were little were not always so lucky. What a gorgeous rabbit.

Ok. Enough "talking" have a little look at these lovely things and you will see exactly what I mean.
Another lovely blogger that likes brown luggage labels. And this blogger loves that sweet stamp.

Lovely crochet cotton.

Happy,spotty pegs.

I wondered if Sue had been looking at my blog as I think it shows just how much I love buttons and these are gorgeous in a sweet jar in a sweet bag. What a treat.

Then of course I love ribbon and I love the way this is wound around the card.

The loveliness goes on and on. Button badges.

Lovely cards.

And some delicate butterflies flew in too.

And to complete all this kindness were some sweet little emotion words inspired by Carmelina at her stunning blog Creative Carmelina. Pop in there too if you like beautiful things. She is havin a little break just now but I hope she is soon back with more creative ideas.
I have admired these for ages and I soon put Sue's to good use. Inspiring me around the house.

The perfect combination with my little white knitted hearts and raspberry glass vase.
Now I would love to make some of these with the cotton Sue gave me but I can not find a Martha Stewart hole puncher anywhere. Hobbycraft.Amazon, Ebay ----- all a big fat negative.
If anyone knows where I could source one I would be ever so grateful. I tried with a sharp needle but not ideal-- not at all!
So, "Thank You" Sue I am still enjoying your wonderful Giveaway and William loves his rabbit. Sp perfect really. Really perfect.

Lovely thoughtful gift you have received.

The way to get rid of those awful anonymous comments is to put word verification on your comments.

    1. Thank you Janet. I have been pointed in the right direction by Sue at Sweetpea and one arrived this morning. There are now holes in everything!
As for the anonymous comments I don't want to give in as personally I find those annoying but can quite see why people use them. If dodgy things start arriving I shall have to think again.

  8. what a great giveaway gift!! xx
