South Island New Zealand. The land of lakes!

Way Down Under a Different Sky.
Having never been to New Zealand before we really did not know what to expect.
What we saw far exceeded any expectations.
Both Islands are truly beautiful but the scenery in South Island was absolutely awesome.
We drove so many miles and saw so many wonderful sights but the lakes left a lasting impression.

Lake Matheson

Lake Wanaka

Lake Wakatipu

Lake Hawea

Lake Te Anau

It looks like every day was filled with sunshine and blue skies but when we visited Milford Sound we enjoyed a very atmospheric trip.
Milford Sound averages 182 days of rain each year so we were lucky it was just covered in cloud!

The highlight for us was a late Christmas present to each other.

A helicopter ride over the Fox and Franz Josef  Glaciers on a perfect evening.

Amongst all this natural wonder finding a little bit of Crafty Stuff was just possible!
Beautiful New Zealand wool.

  10. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post,
I will try to get the hang of it!

  14. I seldom leave remarks, but i did a few searching and wound up here "South Island New Zealand. The land of lakes!".
And I actually do have a few questions for
you if it's allright. Is it just me or does it look like some of the comments come across like left by brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are posting on additional online sites, I'd like to keep up with everything fresh you have to post.
Could you make a list of every one of all your social sites like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
