Roses and a Sunny afternoon in November

"I'll Pick a Rose For My Rose!"
On a Tuesday in Spain we go Gardening and today we were greeted by this wonderful sight in the garden- Roses in full bloom in November.
I was so glad I had my camera with me

Peace was one of my Grandmothers favourite roses and it was lovely to catch up with it again a long way away from her gardens but smelling as beautiful as ever.

  1. Lovely photos, Linda. 'Peace' was my Dad's favourite rose and every time I see it, I think of him. Having lost him forty years ago, the perfume still has the power to take me back all those years. Thanks for the memory!

  3. We have 'Peace' in our garden, planted by the previous owner and I am only just learning the different names of all the lovely roses we have. It's still blooming because it has a very sunny spot in the mornings. The smell is amazing, I never knew roses could smell so... well, rosey! I am used to the shop bought variety! x
